Death by TV

It just goes on and on, an unending flow of sad, alarming and frightening info and data . Dulls the senses, jacks your sensitivity threshold way up there.
So many senseless deaths and injuries, punctuated by high volume demands to "Apply directly to the forehead". Sandwiched between polling data that indicates polls are unreliable and easily misrepresented, product recalls endangering innocents for the benefit of our "trading partners", and the dangling of shiny objects to distract an increasingly illiterate, obese, selfish and greedy public.
But we here at The Daily Crock hope to provide some respite, a calm oasis in the media shitstorm.
And as soon as we find a way to do that, you can find out all about it right here......maybe I'll tell some charming old stories about the way life used to be. Or some inspirational verse about the wonders of nature or romance.......But don't get your hopes up.
