patting myself on the back, played a pretty good gig this week. I was down in New Orleans in late September, and in Marie Laveau's Voodoo Shop I got a 3 legged Chilean Good Luck Pig. It's small, made of wood, and seems to be working. There has been a beneficial confluence of events lately. I seem to be getting superstitious.
.....anyway, I got to play with a talented sax player, and I'm still a little buzzed from the brain chemicals it set off. In order to play music however, it takes a team effort. Out of luck there. regardless, this blog bit has been a bit gloomy, so just wanted to report that something good happened, and I had fun.
It has once again jacked my appreciation of music up to a new level.
